do not despise people

He sat, his audience now growing, captivated by his conversation. Most of them had a Ph.D., except for our friend. The strange thing was that our friend possessed charisma, presence, and special charm when he spoke, and people admired his eloquence so much, they all thought that he, too, was a professor or a doctor. They were listening intently and looking at him with interest.
After a while, the host, who was a famous neurosurgeon, came to see what the fuss was about. He greeted the audience, and there seemed to be some noticeable annoyance as he told them, “I was watching you from afar, and you were listening to Uncle Adam,” meaning (our friend),” and of course, he works as a farmer in one of my agricultural projects.”
“Well, he’s got more style than you,” quipped a guest as everyone threw their heads back in laughter.
Do not despise a person, as he may be better than you in the eyes of people, and you see him as despicable from your own perspective.
لا تحتقر الناس

جلس في إحدى المناسبات العامة، مع الحضور، وصار يتبادل معهم الحديث، وكان معظمهم حاصلين على درجة الدكتوراة، إلا صاحبنا. والغريب في الأمر؛ أن صاحبنا، كان يمتلك كاريزما وحضور وسحر خاص عندما يتحدث. وقد أعجب الحضور بفصاحته وسلاسته في الكلام وظنوا جميعهم أنه بروفيسور او دكتور. كانوا يستمعون وينظرون إليه بكل انتباه واهتمام.
بعد فترة حضر صاحب المناسبة وكان دكتورا مشهورا في المخ والأعصاب، فحيا الحضور بينما يبدو عليه بعض الغيظ الملحوظ، وقال لهم: “لقد كنت اراقبكم من بعيد وأنتم تستمعون الى “عم آدم”، يقصد (صاحبنا)، وهو طبعا شغال في مزارعا في واحد من مشاريعي الزراعية”.
“سبحان اللة، أظرف منك لكن،” رد أحد من الضيوف بسرعة والضحك ملاء الخيمة.
لا تحتقر إنسانا، فقد يكون أفضل منك في نظر الناس، وأنت تراه حقيرا من منظورك الخاص.
