Three Rhythms for Baby Adam’s Return

In a bustling village, baby Adam crawled out early in the morning and was nowhere to be found. The village drummer played a rhythm that could be heard in all the neighbouring villages. This was a unique drum language that was understood by everyone. It said, “Baby Adam is missing! Have you seen him?”
By midday, the sound of a drum was heard from afar, from another village. A different rhythm was played, which spoke and said, “The child is found!”
Baby Adam was brought back to his home, and the drum was played again. Rhythms of joy traversed through time and space, while they danced and sang to celebrate his return.

في قرية نائية، خرج الطفل آدم منذ الصباح الباكر ولم يعد حتى منتصف النهار. في مثل هذه الأحوال، يقوم قارع الطبل في القرية بالإعلان للقرى المجاورة. يضرب طبله بإيقاع محدد ليعرف الناس أن هناك شخص مفقود.
بعد زمن قصير سمع سكان القرية إيقاع طبل من بعيد، من قرية أخرى، إيقاع بضربات مختلفة تعني أن الطفل معنا.
عاد الطفل آدم إلى قريته، وقُرِع الطبل مرة أخرى بإيقاع ينم عن الفرح والسرور. واحتفل الناس ورقصوا ابتهاجا بعودته.
